Avoid contact with all liquids and chemicals, such as perfume, sea water, ammonia, hand cream, chlorinated pool water, hair spray and sweat. Contact with these substances will increase the rate at which tarnishing occurs.

When you put away your jewellery, make sure it is completely dry and kept it in the box provided when you bought the jewellery. This will protect it from scratches as well as help slow the tarnishing process. Try to keep pieces apart so they do not rub together.

To further reduce the tarnishing effect, if possible, store your silver jewellery in plastic zip lock bags to avoid contact with the air.

Remember to put your jewellery on after you have used any hair spray, body spray or perfume, as these products can tarnish it. Make sure your jewellery is the last thing you put on before you go out.
To return your order you must email us at enquiries@georgerainjewellery.com, with your order number.

You may return your order to us at any time up to the end of the seventh working day from the date of the order delivery. Please provide us with a reason as to why you would like to return your order- in some circumstances we may be able to rectify this for you free of charge.

Your right to return your order with us for is subject to:

1) You notifying us up to 7 days after the delivery of your item(s). You will then have a further 7 days to return the item to us. Return postage fees must be covered by the customer*

2) The order must be received back in the condition they were received by you in, along with the George Rain Jewellery packaging.

3) The item(s) cannot be a bespoke order, which due to their unique nature, cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstances.

Due to Health & Safety and hygiene, under no cirumstances, can we accept the return of earrings

Once the items are received back to us provided points 1, 2 and 3 have been observed, any sum debited from your credit card will be credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order.

If the returned item(s) (including the George Rain Jewellery packaging) is damaged or missing, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be credited to you.

For all bespoke items please allow 6-8 weeks from the date of purchase for collection from the George Rain Jewellers store, this is due to the unique nature of the item taking much longer to produce. We may be able to produce the item sooner than this, but we will notify you when the item is ready for collection.
